Jack and Jill Politics: A Call To Action: Stop These Clinton Attacks By Defeating Her

  • Craig Hickman · 1 year ago
    Excellent.

Thanks for the call to action that we all need.

Now let's get to it, people.

    The time is now.

You are so right, we are being tested. I totally agree that we cannot sit back and be complacent.

We all have to contribute in every way and every day all we can; i.e money, time, activism.

The press acknowledges that the Clintons will fight and fight regardless of what the party wants them to do. I heard Hillary say her husband didn't win until June, so you know what that means......even if they lose on March 4, they will say its Pennsylvania in April, or whatever.

These people are ruthless. Michelle Obama is right....the bar for Obama gets reset every time he reaches it and it is the Clintons who keep re-setting that bar.

and by the way, we need to send messages to people like Ellen Degeneres who give Hillary soft ball questions.

I sent an email to EG and asked her why she didn't ask Clinton why she voted AGAINST Amend 4882 which bans the use of cluster bombs/land mines in civilian areas. 98% of the victims of these hideous devices are civilians of which at least 30% are children who often think they are picking up a toy.

I asked Ellen, for someone who went nutty over a dog who was not in harms way, where her moral compass is. I'm sure I won't get a response...but the question is valid.

Let's do the damn thing. Indeed.

Right now, phone calls to Ohio would help. The campaign has a link to call women in Ohio.

Know that Pennsylvania is gearing up...

I have donated to the Obama campaign several times, but had never thought of contacting the Clinton campaign and asking them to stop the racial attacks. Just did that now, in a respectful manner.

Well said, Jack -- and everybody else.

    Lets do this!

Hillary's mockery of Obama is very ugly and insulting! Stop her now!

We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Great post. Small donations are a good thing - seriously good, because the more people, the broader the reach, and the donation limits don't get hit too early. DH is an election law attorney here in NY, he spotted HRC's big nasty funding problem brewing months ago due to deep pocketed, but maxxed out donors.

Once you donate, you will get fundraising requests from the campaign. Please consider breaking up the chunk you plan to donate into smaller ones (I forget what the minimum is - it's on the site link when you get the request) so they can use them as incentives for matching donations.

For example, if you plan to give $100, you could break it up into four separate $25 contributions and they would find matches for those, broadening the fundraising base even more.

I'm in the heart of Hillary Country, the denial is starting to turn to anger in their camp. The insults to Obama are giving way to insults to Obama supporters. We were hearing that it's all a Republican plot, that all the folks voting for him are shills for some sort of dastardly GOP trick.

Now we're hearing how all us Obama supporters are delusional cultists. It is getting hard to keep it sorted as to who the Dems are when they keep talking like Hannity, Limbaugh and Savage ;-)

I guess we'll have to keep a watch for the next stage, Bargaining. Should be interesting :-D

Cross-posted in another thread, but please, help Barack reach his fundraising goal of 1 million individual donors by March 4. He's just about 15,000 donors short. Call your boyfriend, your best friend, your cousin, your nephew, your neighbor, your paperboy... call everyone on your cell phone contact list and ask them to donate. Even a $5 donation will count as a new donor and will help put Barack over the top. And like the above poster says, the campaign has a "matching" program where a donation can be "matched" with a new contributor so your money goes twice as far!

Admittedly, I wondered long and hard about you after you posted that blatantly anti-Obama mashup declaring in your headline that it was both funny and true; the entire post was appalling to me. However, I agree with this post entirely and I thank you for writing it.

I am an Obama volunteer and I want to end this in Texas because Senator Obama is the best option for the next president and I don't want to have to go to Pennsylvania and North Carolina, which are my expected upcoming states---but I will if I have to.

I would add that if you signup to volunteer please fulfill your commitment. I have many people who signed up but that was the end of it. We all pick up the slack but it is hard to fight a multi-headed monster. While I phonebank, field emails and organize, I try to watch my set of internet blogs and neutralize FALSE anti-Obama sentiment. I encourage us all to be vigilant in challenging false attacks, especially when perpetuated by minority bloggers. As I said before, the AA community is Senator Obama's only firewall. It is a heavy burden to bear but it is the truth. Let's end this at the Alamo!

Oh, and I forgot to add in my above post immediately preceding this one that two smaller donations does look better than one larger donation. So, the points made above are accurate.

If anyone is in NY I know they have free transportation up to Rhode Island to canvass for the day this weekend...I am sure most states that are close to one of the states that are voting on Tuesday have something similar.

I'm catching a train to Pennsylvania to do my part - but it might end in Texas.

We are witnessing the throes of a dying campaign. I will do my part to put it and her out of their misery, because it is the compassionate thing to do.

We are the leaders we've been waiting for - so let's lead.

Luv what you do JJP....From a www.Blacks4Barack.org Commenter:

TEXAS/OHIO....BEFORE YOU VOTE.....Here's What HILLARY'S 'Mandated' Health Care Plan FEELS Like

As a Massachusetts single parent, 2 job holding resident, I wish reporters and interested parties would ask Mitt Romney, our former Governor, about his mandated health insurance plan for all Massachusetts residents he left us with. Ask democrats, republicans and independent voters what we think about this plan. This is the same plan that Hillary wants to adopt. Please do yourself a favor and ask the Massachusetts residents how it feels to no longer have a choice about putting food on the table, because YOU MUST, pay for a premium you can't afford. Ask MA residents how LONG it takes them to get a visit with their PCP (Primary Care Physicians). Ask the MA seniors about their medicine vs health care premium. I can go on, but please ask the questions. Also note that Mitt Romney never gives credit or much talk to his governorship here in Massachusetts, because he KNOWS that Massachusetts RESIDENTS think he is a scam. Mandated health care IS NOT a good plan...TRUST ME, and the rest of the MA residents who can vouch this. Barack has the better plan.

Yea, i'm also a volunteer and i'm trying to head up to Rhode Island to campaign. I'm from Hillaryland-NY. My fam lives 20 minutes away from her and I live in Brooklyn. My professor last week try to compare Obama to Hitler and this week another one tried to compare him to Jim Jones (the cult guy).

We are his firewall!! Thank you, Jack & Jill Politics and everyone on this blog. We must be civically active. i spend a lot of time trying to debunk false attacks, they are rampant and I educate people about him. I have also been phone banking. I will take your advice and donate in small portions.

P.S.Did you guys hear about that Obama supporter who was stabbed by a Clinton supporter in a argument.

Hillary's attacks are personal. She and the media are attacking Obama supporters. It isnt right.
