i don't get it. castration is a weapon i thought a woman would be more likely to use than a man. i thought men talked of beating another man's ass... or having that man suck his dick, before talk of castration.

i thought castration is outright fear of the penis, but that beating someone's ass or having him suck your dick is establishing your masculinity over his. who is jesse speaking for?

    Nita,
you are kinda grossing me out. Why dont you repeat it one more time, so that we really get the point. :-)

i haven't heard of a man wanting another man to pleasure him orally to establish manhood outside of maybe a prison movie

Well I have noticed that the one major and enlightening thing that has occur from Sen. Obama's campaign is that the true hearts and minds of individuals (BLACKS and so-called supporters of Blacks) are being revealed.

Andrew Young saying he's not "black enough"
Bill Clinton saying "he's not black enough" and actually HE was he first 'black' president
Tavis Smiley saying he doesn't care about blacks due to his absent at his event in New Orleans

And now Jesse questioning his "morality" and saying he talks down to Black people?! First of all, what reverend would use such language? (I guess one that has a baby outside his marriage with a side-piece). Obama is not saying anything more or less than what other blacks have said...we need to have "personal responsibility and accountability" for our own lives, not look for gov't handouts and take care of our children/families.

I'm really ashamed of our leaders like Jesse, Andy, Tavis and the others who are clearly hatin' on Sen. Obama (soon to be President Obama). The KKK and the racist right can just sit back cause our people is lynching this brother without him.

Sad thing is, had a white man said what Jesse said, it would be an uproar -- and quit honestly, there should be a HUGE uproar about what Jesse said and no excuses for it. Hot-mic my a***...Jesse is embarrassed that he got caught saying what he said...cause he meant every word.

AdGurl: Say that!!! Check out the "Hater Watch" on blacks4barack. I wonder if the REVEREND Jesse deserves some "time out" on that site? Or we may have to temporarily "suspend" his NAACP Card - 'cause "Colored People" cain't ADVANCE with behavior like that! WE SHALL OVERCOME - SOME DAY!!??

"You can criticize the brotha, but you ain’t gotta go there. I mean, I don’t hear anyone talking about John McCain like that."

Well, there was the McCain golf-ball review incident, in which McCain's balls got far more attention than is generally considered polite.

I think it's just straight-up playahate on Jackson's part. Playahate that should be ignored.
  • GreenLadyHere · 1 year ago
Cheryl: "We" may ignore the hatin', BUT some "others" are so terrified of "us" that they believe that we "know" the truth about ourselves and will not be able to ignore our negative statements and criticisms of Mr. Obama. Hence, they may choose not to vote for him. We must be just as careful as the REVEREND should have been.

Judas lives! I guess Obama has to denouce and reject him next.
  • kenyaw · 1 year ago
    Jay,
No he does not. He did not. Don't be silly.
  • P-niiice · 1 year ago
Well the problem is, all of this "black stuff" will be attributed to Obama negatively.

    Yes, it's that bad.
  • caligirl · 1 year ago
what makes jackson's comments even more reprehensible is the fact that he's old enough to vividly remember when castration was used as a terrorist tool against black men during lynchings. what black man from the south of a certain age even goes there...???
  • GreenLadyHere · 1 year ago
    caligirl: AMEN!
