Jack and Jill Politics: CBC Still Pushing Fox Debate…Even Though No One Is Going

  • rikyrah · 2 years ago
I didn't know about the one in January. Thanks for the info.

Them clinging to this debate is ridiculous.

I bet if we could look into their bank accounts, we would see deposits under "GOP", "RNC" or "Karl Rove". Or we would be able to trace it back to someone who is a front for these groups. SOMEONE is writing the checks.

If the CBC was as dedicated to important bread & butter issues in urban America as they are about this damn FOX Noise debate, then perhaps they could be a lot more productive.

"In 2002, the CBC Foundation was given an undisclosed amount from Fox News and parent company News Corp. Between 2003-2005, they gave the CBC somewhere between $47,500 to $98,998 with numbers for 2006 still unavailable".

Of course it's 'bout the money.

If you want to know who's getting paid and how much on this Fox/CBC debacle, read this:

"Regardless of how one feels about Obama as a candidate, his presence alone makes competition for black votes more fierce, and forces the other major candidates to respect our concerns."

    dnA,

Thanks for being one of the few to give recognition to this. You got a lot of Black folk taking to the mic and camera criticizing Obama, but what they fail to recognize or at least give recognition to is that if not for Obama in the race (forgive the unintended pun), the media and the Democratic Party would NOT be giving this much attention to Black voters and issues. If he doesn't get the nomination, you won't here Black, race, urban agenda, etc. mentioned during the entire general election campaign.
