Tweety is preparing for his Senate run and wants to be seen as partisan.

NEW ORLEANS — The sharp surge in black turnout that Senator Barack Obama has helped to generate in recent primaries and Congressional races could signal a threat this fall to the longtime Republican dominance of the South, according to politicians and voting experts.

Not a fan of Chris Mathews---but I did like the way he slapped the idiot around. . . .
Is this what those loud ass neocons do on the radio-

(never could bring myself to listen) scream uneducated dribble and hate at the weak minded and gullible?

Moments like this are the reason one watches political shows. just for the offchance you'll get live theater like that.

That was nice. It's about time Matthews found a set o' nads.

What a train wreck that Kevin James.

    ::

ms.martin, that is precisely why the GOP is shitting bricks as we speak. Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia will all be in play.

Not saying Obama will win them, but I like his chances in at least Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia.
  • icebergslim · 1 year ago
    craig, agree.

remember, obama don't have to WIN the south, he makes the GOP spend money in their backyard to keep the gate CLOSED.

that is what he did to clinton and see she is broke as a joke. he did it on 2/5 putting pressure on her to spend money in those big states and her own backyard from his threat.

    see where she is now.

    the south is in play.

Who on earth is this Kevin James? He's a shrill, howler monkey who can't even distinguish between "appease" and "converse"--did you notice how the longer the "debate" went, the more shrill he became?

Seeing people get called out for "Bullshit" is very healthy.

Somewhere, the other Kevin James, from the TV show "The King of Queens", is looking at this clip, and thinking, "Aw crap! Why does this douche have the same name as me?!"

Craig, good thought. It occurs to me that recent California Supreme Court ruling on same-gender marriage actually hurts McCain with some of the Deep South voters. It could be argued that since McCain voted "no" on the Constitutional amendment to ban SSM, that he helped open the door to a gay marriage having to be honored in Alabama or Mississippi.

Exactly, that's why I posted the pat of the article.

    Ronnie

I'd be willing to bet the GOP in CA ruled that way for two reasons

1: to force the candidates to speak out about it and hopefully shore up the evangelical base that Obama is going after across the country.

    2. to gain support from gay and lesbian voters to try and win more voter support California.

At any rate, Obama's 50 state plan has the crazies scrambling.

Yes. Somebody comes on their little radio program, starts making sense and challenging the host, the host starts screaming and ranting, and hangs up on the caller.

Then the host spends another 5 minutes ranting about how stupid the caller is, and then they let a couple of calls on the air to co-sign the host.

Don't care for Chris Matthews at all, but, that was too funny, what a dummy this guy was, and, like Bush, totally uneducated dunce. I wonder when Matthews will take on Buchanan for his many errors and slurs about black voters??
  • GoldenAh · 1 year ago
    K. James was a rabid drooling moron, like Sean Hannity.

    That clip was funny.

    C. Matthews looks good for a guy his age: he's over 60.

I thought that one of the most revealing moments came when Mark Green told James to read Richard Clarke's book Against All Enemies in order to get his facts straight about the run up to the 9/11 attacks.

What was James idea of a source of factual information? The made for TV docu-drama Pathway to 9/11.

    @ vinny,

Yeah...that dumbfounded me. Then the part at the end where Dana Perino had never heard about the Cuban Missile crisis. "Blank slates" is right!

See, I know plenty of brothers from the barbershop who could get on television and present themselves in a much more dignified manner. But they allow folks like James to talk ad nauseum without a clue.

"the things that Neville Chamberlain supported energized, legitimized, and energized, legitimized, and made it easier for Hitler to advance in the way that he advanced."

He also called him "Neverland Chamberlain" at one point.

Matthews even gave him the answer at one point, saying "Munich" and "Czechoslovakia". He couldn't hear him, because he's not a hearing things kind of guy.

Professional yeller. Dumber than bread dough.
