Jack and Jill Politics: Clinton Supporter Gets Her Ferraro On After The Rules Meeting

  • The Christian Progressive Libe · 1 year ago
Thank God for YouTube. If that outburst, combined with Harold Ickes' flame out, doesn't put paid to Hillary and her crew, well, dang, we just have to do it ourselves.
  • The Christian Progressive Libe · 1 year ago
Someone should ask Hillary if Harriet Christian is representative of all her female supporters (i.e. BIGOTED WHITE WOMEN)?

    I'm just sayin'....
  • Anonymous · 1 year ago
And this is not on the cable news outlets 24/7 like the crazy preachers, and, she does not denouce this old bigot, typical of HRC, racists are welcomed for a vote.

Honore is on CNN on Rick Sanchez. Remember him from New Orleans? The "John Wayne dude" that went into the convention centre.

Why does Ickes remind me of the aliens in "Mars Attacks"?

    D%mn nutty woman! GTFOH!

Her remarks aren't half as racist (or sexist) as about 99% of the posts on this blog.

    "BROs before HOs", eh?

    How nice.

Look in the mirror every once in a while, hypocrites.
  • Angela · 1 year ago
I watched Ickes and his ignorant remarks at the DNC meeting...he almost sounded like he was going to start crying. What is it with these Clinton people. Obama has showed so much restraint and class..thank heavens he put the word out that he did not want his supporters protesting. Let Hillary's people make asses of themselves.

I also heard Donna Brazile comment that she had to force herself to not react to Ickes on CNN today.

I admit that I have had some anger with Donna Brazile, but, she really is a classy lady.

Anyone who doesn't think that Harriet KKKristian didn't say what many in the media already think ...

    is an intellectual liar.

And no, we won't see Harriet KKKristian--Hillary supporter endlessly looped on CNN or FOX News. MSNBC will suddenly develop standards of decency. And the rest of the networks have finally given up hope for a Clinton comeback.

That woman spoke what many, many Americans are afraid to say.
  • Akonuche · 1 year ago
That woman is nuts. She and everyone else like her. You would rather vote for a guy who has none of your interests in mind instead of casting your vote for a fellow Democrat?

Am I to accept this argument that they are so incensed over Hillary Rodham Clinton's "inevitability" being shot down the tubes (by her own doing, btw) that they are going to turn Republican come November?

Does any of this shit even rational?

And this thing about being called "black", since when is that something offensive? I don't see anybody running around on TV classifying Hillary Clinton as a "white woman", so why should Barack Obama be classified as a "black man"? These things are obvious, so WTF was the point of bringing that up in her rant?
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
    Get her FERRARO on

    LOL

Now Ferraro is an article of speech not a noun?

    LOL

That woman is not crazy, she's a racist. Don't offend crazy people they can't help it. This woman chooses to behave and think the way she does. Why doesn't the corporate media ever talk about these people as being UN-AMERICAN!!!
  • Anonymous · 1 year ago
Anon 5:24, apparently you don't read this blog often. Instead of trolling legitimate web sites and throwing out insults, perhaps you need to look in the mirror and check your funky attitude at the door. If you're so aggrieved by the critiques on this blog, start your own d*mned site. More, I am tired of people like you who see rabid, mad dog racism like this slapping them in the face and have the nerve turn it around to make themselves out to be the victims. Screw you and your narcissism.

I heart this video. Christmas came early! And as someone who grew up in the 80's I just find this white woman pitiful lol. Maybe if I grew up in the civil rights movement I could you know muster up some kind of emotional response. But so far this 20 year old college educated black man can only feign pity at this very pitiful white woman!

    YES WE CAN!

I am not going to watch this hot mess ... I'm so done with HRC supporters, like this.I say, who cares if they vote for McCain. Personally I'd rather Obama lost than cow tow to these bigots. After Obama's Presidency I'm done with the Democrats and Republican's. Hopefully there are some strong Independent candidates in the subsequent years to follow.

I say, vote for who you believe in. If this "lady" doesn't believe in Obama, so be it ... I do not care.
  • markg8 · 1 year ago
There but for the grace of God and Barack's superior candidate skills and campaign go all of us. Imagine how you'd feel if you'd waited for this all this your life, for one of your own, a person you really identified with to win what will be an almost certain shot at the presidency. Imagine you're Harriet Christian who knows she won't live to see many more, if any of these fights.

If we hadn't fought Hillary to a draw in Indiana and kicked her ass in NC we might very well be in Harriet's position.

How would you feel if we hadn't held her off? If superdels were falling her way? If the media bought her line that Barack couldn't seal the deal? That primary killed her and sent us on our way.

They are bitter as hell now. I would be too if the shoe was on the other foot. Bu these people are Democrats. They have 5 months to get over it. We have 5 months to prove them wrong by proving ourselves and showing just how strong Obama and his coattails are.

Most of them will join us long before then. Almost all of them will join us by election day.

As long as we don't rub it in. Take your lead from Barack. I do.
  • Bronze Trinity · 1 year ago
LoL HeartsandFlowers! This is why I'm not a feminist. I believe in equality of people but the actual feminists don't care much about Black people. How are they stealing the election? All that crap Clinton was saying about Obama's camp not wanting to compromise...when he does compromise they still complain! They never wanted a compromise, they just wanted all the Michigan and Florida votes counted. What BS!
  • MacDaddy · 1 year ago
It is nuts. Part of the craziness is that, if you criticize Hillary about anything, you're being sexist. Crying wolf doesn't advance the cause of women and shows how silly middle class white women can look when "one of their own" is losing.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
This has had 500,000 hits in a day on Youtube..LOL
  • Shazzasharona · 1 year ago
And this woman wasn't even from MI OR FL-she's from Manhattan! I think her vote DID count!Someone posted at HuffPo this woman booed the menytion of MLK!! Did they ever clear up that thing about BO getting NO votes in some of the NY districts?
  • Anonymous · 1 year ago
The sad thing is that the Clinton campaign has gone a long way towards justifying racism in this country.

They have set back race relations in this country quite a bit.

If a Republican says something racist now they can just claim to be like the Clintons.

For instance, if Trent Lott made his racist statement about Strom Thurmond today, he could simply claim cover by citing the numerous Clinton remarks.

I tell you now: the Clintons have become the main enemy of the Democrats winning in November, and have done more for racism than the Republicans could ever dream of.
  • Nichelle · 1 year ago
Did they ever clear up that thing about BO getting NO votes in some of the NY districts?

I've been waiting to hear about that and so far - nothing.

    Obama ‘Robbed’ In New York

By GINGER ADAMS OTIS - February 16, 2008

Barack Obama’s primary-night results were strikingly underrecorded in several districts around the city - in some cases leaving him with zero votes when, in fact, he had pulled in hundreds, the Board of Elections said yesterday.

Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem's 94th and other historically black areas - but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the board said.

In some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even closer to defeating Hillary Clinton. Initial results in the 94th, for example, showed a 141-0 sweep for Hillary Clinton, but the recount changed the tally to 261-136.

As yet, none of the results have been certified, but a ballot-by-ballot canvassing of all voting machines has begun, a board spokesperson said. Many of the mistakes were chalked up to human error -- and some Clinton tallies were wrong as well. In several congressional districts she was shown as having received zero votes when in fact she got hundreds, Boe said.

Brooklyn City Councilman Charles Barron called the understated figures "outrageous."

Unofficial Tallies in City Understated Obama Vote.

Black voters are heavily represented in the 94th Election District in Harlem’s 70th Assembly District. Yet according to the unofficial results from the New York Democratic primary last week, not a single vote in the district was cast for Senator Barack Obama.

That anomaly was not unique. In fact, a review by The New York Times of the unofficial results reported on primary night found about 80 election districts among the city’s 6,106 where Mr. Obama supposedly did not receive even one vote, including cases where he ran a respectable race in a nearby district.

City election officials this week said that their formal review of the results, which will not be completed for weeks, had confirmed some major discrepancies between the vote totals reported publicly — and unofficially — on primary night and the actual tally on hundreds of voting machines across the city.

In the Harlem district, for instance, where the primary night returns suggested a 141 to 0 sweep by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the vote now stands at 261 to 136. In an even more heavily black district in Brooklyn — where the vote on primary night was recorded as 118 to 0 for Mrs. Clinton — she now barely leads, 118 to 116.

With people like this woman spewing their tragic venom, bigotry is becoming more and more comedic.

I have no idea what that portends.

But wouldn't it be interesting if folks starting to see the folly of bigotry precisely because the expression of it by women like this has become visibly so hyperbolic?

This woman was clearly a bad actress. Harriet Christian? Yeah. Right.

    Wag the dog.

    I am with Jack.
I sincerely thank God that this thing is almost over. I really don’t know how much more of this I can take.

Can I just ask a dumb question? Why is it that there has been so much heated discussion about why a black person would be so wrong to vote for SBO because of racial pride, but when it comes to women voting for HRC it is understandable because it shows the progression of women in this country? And bless her heart, Harriett identifies with HRC and she is proud of her accomplishment. I don’t see anything wrong with that personally. Your vote is yours alone.

Anyway, like I said, it was a dumb question, but I had to ask.

To anon whenever - when the F did someone on this site say anything about “bros before hoes”? That is some shit the WHITE fraternity guys say, not black people you lame! Urban black youth “slang” is MOB, you big dummy! Lol
  • markg8 · 1 year ago
But it hasn't and it's not going to work is it? We are winning. Not just black folks but millions of white people like me. Like the hundreds from Chicagoland I saw in Lake County before Indiana to canvass for Barack.

Like the 30 who met at the McDonald's in Bolingbrook

at 6am on the Saturday morning before the IN primary, organized to caravan down to Lafayette to canvass for Barack by Scott Harper's campaign, all but a couple of us white, most of us older than my 52 years and at least half of our number women.

Just be patient. They're trying to goad all of us into being jerks like them. They want you to flip out, they want Barack to make an ass of himself. I get 'em on the phone or at front doors and they try to get to me. I never let them. I tell my cat what I wish I could have said if I was only representing myself when I get home. She's very patient as long as I keep the cat food coming. I know she'll never repeat it, she's on our side. Besides she doesn't speak a word of English.

For the next week or so we're gonna all have to dip into that Jackie Robinson well of self restraint Obama has an ocean of. Then it'll be over and we can pivot on McCain.
  • blksista · 1 year ago
I have to demur. Racism is considered by some psychologists as a mental illness. Especially with this queen bigot here spewing.

As my own mother has said, class will tell. Obama told his people to stay home--a priceless move. Because I'm sure the media were ready to show blood in the street, with demonstrators using the wrong end of their placards to pole each other.

That would have been the wrong message to send to folks, especially through MSNBC and C-Span.

This whole episode showed how viral, dangerous, delusional and classless these Hillbots are. And the sad thing is that these people have been so worked up by Billary & Co., they can't see logic for the bigotry foaming at their lips. Women like this been popping the wrong set of pills, if you ask me.

Billary is not going to live this down, so help me. They've opened Pandora's Box on this end of the political spectrum. They're going to reap what they sow.

I had to watch the vid about 10 times but could not stop laughing! I say if white people can't deal with this how the hell are they going to react when they become a minority in a couple of decades?
  • Felicia · 1 year ago
Oh--I hope someone does a response/parody video to/of Harriet. If I had a video camera, I'd be all over it. It would be Harriet in front of a bedsheet-drapped background screaming, "LEAVE...HILLARY...ALONE! You bastards!"

If racism is a mental illness then we've got a lot of psychos running around. It's a nice try though. I did read about how some people would be classified as experiencing some sort of trauma, but seriously I'd take it as a spiritual defect before a mental one. Other Jesus wouldn't have hung out with the Samaritan woman.

t.c. you are so right. Whites will be a minority in America by what 2050? Latinos/Hispanics will be the largest group.
  • Nquest · 1 year ago
You got those 2050 stats wrong. Latinos are not projected to be the largest group. The 2050 projections show Whites, as a percentage of US population, somewhere in the range of 49% - 51% or so.

African Americans projected to be at least 10%.

    _____

Exactly!! I don't give a damn who she decides to vote for and for what reason. My beef started with the "inadequate". We as black people always feel the need to apologize for pride, for solidarity when others question it. Yet, they (bigots) do it all the time! We can stand along with the whites, latino, asians, pacific islanders, etc. who have cast their vote for Obama. It's all good. But we don't need to say, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said I'm proud to be voting for black man". Reverse racism is a myth because those who created the power structure can never truly be victims.
