Jack and Jill Politics: Clinton Wins Indiana Via Rush Limbaugh’s ‘Operation Chaos’

  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
Correct me if I'm wrong...but, I'm pretty sure she didn't congratulate him during her speech.

I'm holding out for Lake county, I'm hoping he wins, even by a hair!

Do you guys believe in omens? That unfortunate filly Eight Belles broke BOTH her legs.
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
Now, poor Lanny is losing his composure.
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
Hooray Jeff Toobin! It is VERY suspicious that Lake refuses to release partial counts until absentee ballots are counted.
  • texas girl in l.a. · 1 year ago
I'm telling you, I didn't hear her say anything. I was hoping that someone would catch it. Nothing.

Now Russert is saying maybe Obama could pay Hillary's debt.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
Toobin don't know Black vote counters...BWA HA HA HA

    Yeah, I went there..LOL

I got what I want...she had to make a speech and nobody knew the result...LOL
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
With about 180,000 voters in Lake County Obama needs 110,000. Gary will go for him, but there are still the outlying suburbs. This is such a nail-biter. Come on Lake County!!!

On another note, why can't Hilary ever congratulate Obama for his victories? It would make me like her a little if she acted just a wee bit humble.
  • JJ · 1 year ago
COld school Chicago dirty tricks at play? Its quite suspicious that Lake county is still out...
  • andyfrombrooklyn · 1 year ago
i started to get annoyed by cnn, but then i realised how telling their act was. it's over and they know it. WE HAVE WON!!!!FOR REAL!!!ENJOY EVERYBODY!!!!
  • texas girl in l.a. · 1 year ago
Pamela she's pissed. "screw him" that's what she's thinking.

You know...I really think Clinton's supporters are going to hate black people from now on.
  • Anonymous · 1 year ago
Damn, I keep missed seeing Lenny shi**ing himself. Jamal is probably just cracking up inside.

I hate that they are intimating there is something potentially suspicious going on in Lake County. I hope it's all on the up and up. I am from Chicago, so I know all about "machine" and "Chicago style politics".

Uh oh, wait Lenny is on again. Thank God for David Gergen.
  • Ms.Martin · 1 year ago
I am loving this! I hope she loses, it will be so funny when she had to take back that victory speech.
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
MSNBC just read the quote from the Gary major saying:

"Let me tell you, when all the votes are counted, when Gary comes in, I think you're looking at something for the world to see," Clay, an Obama supporter, said in a telephone interview from Obama's Gary headquarters. "I don't know what the numbers are yet, but Gary has absolutely produced in large numbers for Obama here."

Chuck Todd said "oh God' and Chris Matthew's couldn't contain his excitement. It's gonna be close but it is going to look suspect.
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
Hmm, I didn't think of the suspicious Lake delay from the perspective of helping Obama. I thought that Hillary has more at stake, and if there's any monkey business going on there, it's on her side.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
Michelle Bernard is on fire tonight. She's happy for Obama.
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
    pamela,

I think that's such a bad move for them to delay the counts. Now, there'll be a cloud of suspicion over it no matter which way it swings.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
Folks, being from Chicago, I could give a rat's ass if it's 'tainted'. Can't say shit about anything being tainted considering that most of Hillpatine's Republican support comes from RUSH LIMBAUGH LISTENERS.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
For the first time in weeks, I'm gonna watch Morning Joe...wanna see Joe Scarborough CHOKE ON IT.

    Such a beautiful thang!!!
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
I've only been watching MSNBC....anyone wanna tell me about what they're saying on CNN?
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
I have CNN on tivo. The minute I did see was some Republican Consultant going today was the beginning of the end of the Clinton Era in the Democratic Party. I thought that was such a high note, I switched right back to MSNBC.
  • texas girl in l.a. · 1 year ago
    Yo!

Clinton cancelled all her talk show interviews for tomorrow.

    Damn! Damn! Damn!
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
I predicted Barack would win NC by 12 and Indiana by a hair. He won NC by 14.....and I almost can't stand the suspence he might win Indiana by a hair!
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
With the exception of one Clinton supporter they are pretty pro-Obama. In fact you could hear laughing and moaning in the background as the Clintonite tried to make his points. But it's hard to listen to anything with John playing with that damn interactive map.
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
texas girl, where did you read that?
  • texas girl in l.a. · 1 year ago
Tim Russert said it on MSNBC
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
CNN was good tonight! Gergin took issue with Lanny for suggesting that it was Barack's fault that MI and FL were not already seated.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
I love John's map. If he and the map and Roland Martin moved to MSNBC, I'd never watch CNN again.
  • rikyrah · 1 year ago
Ok I'll ask...does anyone watch Faux News...I don't...just wondering what was going on over there, if anyone's watching.

  • Pamela · 1 year ago
I will say the map is working a lot better tonight then in the past but it is still distracting. I watch and think "please let the link work" and then am happy for him when it does. I mainly watch MSNBC but I tune into CNN to see if the map fails.

Currently the Gary mayor is on CNN and they are suggesting conspiracy. But while they all talk the camera is on John playing with his map and looking at it with love.
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
Seriously CNN is late night comedy gold with the John King cam right now.
  • B-Serious · 1 year ago
Anyone think Hillary drops out by the end of the week?

I thought it strange that polls close at 6pm.
  • texas girl in l.a. · 1 year ago
Pamela I think they are all trippin'

Chuck Todd on MSNBC is like..."I just want you to know that we are waiting for one delegate...one delegate. But I'm with you until the end."

K.Olberman..."so what are you are saying..you want to go home?"
  • justice58 · 1 year ago
    Hey you guys,

Did you notice that Pat Buchanan couldn't say s.h.i.t. tonight?

North Carolina shut him the f%%% up!

    ahahahahahahahahahaha
  • Ruth · 1 year ago
I think the folks in Lake County wanted to make headlines with a big splash of showing the Obama numbers instead they have set him up for a win with an asterik and they will likely end up having to do a recount.

    Damn.
  • B-Serious · 1 year ago
Those Clinton surrogates are backtrackin' tonight!

I missed Lanny Davis, but I did see Donna Brazille get into it with Paul Begala.

I swear. This night has been a rollercoaster.

I was feeling down when I saw those early returns from Indiana around 7:00. But I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when the networks called NC at 7:30 on the dot!

It just got better and better from there on out.

    Go OBAMA!!!!

    YES WE CAN!

Wasn't Eight Belles that that poor Kentucky Derby horse that came in second to Big Brown? She couldn't get up so they shot her on the track.
  • Pamela · 1 year ago
Now that I have heard Tim Russert say she is canceling her public appearances for tomorrow and Indiana is so close if not a loss for Hillary I would think she is considering backing out this week.

I am watching MSNBC right now and even Pat Buchanon has said that Obama has won Indiana and NC and "the bottom has dropped out."

51% to 49% in Indiana right now with Gary still yet to report.

*singing CAN YOU FEEL IT by Gary, IN natives The Jacksons to myself* LOL!!!!
  • TruthSeeker · 1 year ago
    diana,

yep, Hillary suggested that the underdog filly (the only female in the race) was somehow comparable to herself. She asked people in her rally to put money on the horse for her. Chelsea showed up at the Derby and I think McAuliffe too. The horse came in second after snapping both legs. The vets had to euthanize her. It is tragic for sure. But, when I read the story, it gave me a chill. It had the quality of a prophetic dream or warning.
  • Craig Hickman · 1 year ago
rikyrah, Chuck Todd is better than that idiot from CNN on election maps.

I refuse to watch the Clinton News Network unless someone directs me there for good reason.

Drudge Report called the entire race for Obama.

    This shit is over.

Bill Clinton was drunk as a skunk and red faced to boot.

He'll be looking for some release from a pretty young thing this weekend.

  • Nichelle · 1 year ago
@Pamela - Girl, ABC/123 IS by the Jacksons!

@ Rikyrah - I am just SCREAMING in my apt! I just feel that the end is TONIGHT! Keith O. read Hillary's email from tonight on the air and noted that it was "austere" and she didn't ask for any money. Say Goodnight Hillary! This is the email that she sent out tonight (yeah, I'm on still on the list hahaha)

    Dear Friend,

Tonight's victory in Indiana was close, and a margin that narrow means just one thing: every single thing you did to help us win in Indiana helped make the difference.

Every call you made, every friend you spoke to about our campaign, every dollar you contributed made tonight's victory possible. And I couldn't be more thankful for your hard work.

Every time we've celebrated a victory, we've celebrated it together. And tonight is no exception. This victory is your victory, this campaign is your campaign, and your support has been the difference between winning and losing.

Thank you so much for making this campaign possible. Let's keep making history together.

    Sincerely,

    Hillary

    Conspiracy Theory from Politicalinaction.com:

UPDATE: As I said.....the Lake vote coming in this late is Obama's revenge for 8 weeks of horrendously pro-Hillary anti-Obama news coverage. With nothing to talk about...Obama just forced the news networks to call something bigger than Indiana...the race for the democratic nomination. Maybe his supporters in Lake did it on purpose...maybe not...I don't really care. The narrative is clear....Hillary is done

    Finally, somebody says it:

So, in the name of another personal quality--honesty--I'd like Hillary Clinton to make the following statement: "Though my opponent has run a terrific campaign, in primary after primary, I have proven that I am the more electable candidate. I am more electable because I am white. Barack Obama--Wow!--he's certainly inspired a lot of hope, but as voters in Indiana and North Carolina make up their minds, as the superdelegates make up their minds, they should remember that Barack Obama is black. They should also remember that a whole lot of white working-class Americans are racists. White racists are an important part of the Democratic Party, and time and time again, they've supported me because I am white. I am ready on day one to govern as your white American president."

How Does Hillary Clinton Feel About the White Racist Vote?

The constant and continuous racism is so very draining. As much as I'm happy for and supportive of Obama, I'm not sure I can hang in with the racist media coverage for 6 more months. Then after he wins the presidency, they will be challenging and disrespecting him in press conferences, etc. I might be forced to tune out.

andy, yes the map works because I can admit I spend more time watching that stupid thing then listening to the pundents. But then I snap back to reality and switch back to MSNBC. It's a CNN conspiracy.

Texas girl, just wait until Joe shows up in his sweatshirt and starts insulting everyone within reach. That's when the fun starts. I wonder if Mika will actually hit him this morning. I hope they make him come in at 5:00 like they normally do after big election nights.

"Wolf and that white Lake County mayor were trying to blast the Black mayor form the slow count. He pretty much accused him of impropriety."

That's what I don't understand. How would or could the mayor of Gary have that much control over the county election officials? Something else I couldn't understand is how the Hammond mayor could accuse him of corruption when the votes that were still out were from outside Gary, or in other words...the Clinton-supporting part of the county, which includes Hammond.

Fun historical fact (and then I am going to bed. REALLY!)

As Gayle King noted on her XM radio show yesterday, when Obama accepts the Democratic nomination for President on August 28, it will be the anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech!!!

All night on Fox they kept Saying Lake county and Gary are the same as Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, wrong. the Problem with Cleveland and Cuyahoga County was "Uncle" J.Kenneth Blackwell..In Cleveland the East Side and the Eastern Suburbs went for Sen.Obama, the West Side of the city and Western Suburbs went for Hillary. You also had the "Operation Chaos " voters and the NAFTA lie that she spread.Maybe Lake County and Gary is showing some blowback from the Rev.Wright and ABC high tech lynching.

I meant to say we don't HAVE a Blackwell problem anymore.Secretary of State Brunner took care of that.
