Jack and Jill Politics: CNN: Terrible For Democracy?

As for the press, I say: Bring back the guillotine!

The news media are the ones bringing up race and gender all the times. I think things would be so different if they were not causing controversies all the time. They just keep speculating about what things mean. Like they attribute Obama's loss to the ABC debate, but there is no way they can proove that. Most people had their minds made up before that debate. It could just be that late deciders just go with the person they know and don't take chances on someone new. The continuous commentary and speculation is really idiotic!

Remember when CNN used to be the most trusted name in news?

Remember when CNN used to have the best political team of all the networks?

    Where is CNN?

I liked when Donna Brazile scolded CNN for talking about the Black electorate vs. working class whites. CNN is a joke.

States with less than a 6% Black population are not polarized by race. That's why Obama won so overwhelmingly in Wisconsin, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Maine, Washinton, Minnesota, Vermont, etc. etc. etc.

I guess the white working class voters, many of whom also own guns and go to church, in those states don't count for anything.

Why Obama and/or his surrogates don't throw this in these talking heads faces whenever they get the chance is beyond me.

It's almost as if the entire campaign doesn't want to raise race.

Well, since everybody else is, it's time for the campaign to embrace race and frame the discussion the right way instead of the wrong way.

If you frame it the right way, you don't exploit the bigots who aren't going to vote for him anyway.

This is about making Obama look unelectable to the white superdelegates. Obama's white surrogates need to open then fughing mouths and get it right.

It really is time to stop watching.

I am not watching anymore until a primary night and then just for results.

I was so annoyed yesterday with this nonsense...my goodness gracious!

The media is so irrelevant and are only interested in division and lies...period.

Yesterday it was..."Obama has 92% percent of the black vote"..."He cannot win amongst white voters"...doesn't this show weakness? I swear!!

I have stopped watching CNN except for Larry King. All the rest of it can suck it. The endless circle jerk. bias, and bad info besides inflaming bigots have turned me off to Fox (CNN) lite.

TLC and Comedy Central have never looked so good.

folks are making their choices now, who cares? they'll vote for the candidate in november. no matter the demographic. because most of america just wants to stop george bush from a 3d term.

this is idiocy. i despise cnn. msnbc. all of these fuckheads.
