"Don’t hate!" I agree, but - Unfortunately - the Democratic Party survives on “hate”, e.g. it has promoted hatred of the “Rich” and/or “White America” for decades, and this year, the "chickens have come home to roost"...for all to see.

My favorite moment at Invesco was when Obama said in his speech:

"And I've seen it in this campaign. In the young people who voted for the first time, and in those, the young at heat, who got involved again after a very long time."

When the camera panned back to him in mid-sentence, he had this little smile across his face. So grateful. And I will tell you something silly: I started to scream, "OMG, OMG, he just talked to ME...I'm one of those young people..." LOL!

It was like my own personal acknowledgement, ya know?

Yeah, silly me!

ps. I hope we get to see another pep talk video(before the elections) like the one we got after he won the primaries...when he said, "WE have to win..."

I hit explorer twice, I keep this blog on one and scour the internet on the other. This site can hang up badly at times. I have a new laptop and I don't have the same problem with any other site and some of those have lots of graphics and videos so... don't know why.

But it is so worth being here.

I was thinking that Obama could make great, cheap, straightforward campaign ads by taking the best 30 seconds from the best speeches and play a series of those on a constant loop until the election. Since there were so many great speeches they could target some to particular parts of the country and particular demographics.

is anyone having as much trouble posting comments or opening links to threads as I am? Ummmh.

I wish the campaign would come out with a "You must think I'm stupid t-shirts, I'd wear that long after the elections. They came out with the tanks and they also have brown, my favorite color, I just ordered that one.

Finally, did anyone see the King/Woodward interview or know anything about his book? If so, would you please summarize it for me. Aside from saying that Bush was irresponsible, worried about losing and wanting to see dead Iraqis what is he saying?
