I agree, but - Unfortunately - the Democratic Party survives on “hate”, e.g. it has promoted hatred of the “Rich” and/or “White America” for decades, and this year, the "chickens have come home to roost"...for all to see.

James Cone: "It is important to make a further distinction here among black hatred, black racism, and Black Power. Black hatred is the black man's strong aversion to white society. No black man living in white America can escape it...But the charge of black racism cannot be reconciled with the facts. While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism."

Re: DNC08 Jack At Invesco

Don't forget John Kerry and Tammy Duckworth.

The two sleeper hits of the DNC.

Jack, it was nice to meet you, even if briefly. We both live in New England less than 2.5 hours apart. We've no excuse not to hang out.

Re: DNC08 Jack At Invesco

My favorite moment at Invesco was when Obama said in his speech:

"And I've seen it in this campaign. In the young people who voted for the first time, and in those, the young at heat, who got involved again after a very long time."

When the camera panned back to him in mid-sentence, he had this little smile across his face. So grateful. And I will tell you something silly: I started to scream, "OMG, OMG, he just talked to ME...I'm one of those young people..." LOL!

It was like my own personal acknowledgement, ya know?

Yeah, silly me!

T.
ps. I hope we get to see another pep talk video(before the elections) like the one we got after he won the primaries...when he said, "WE have to win..."

Re: DNC08 Jack At Invesco

That's a great Photo! Since there were so many great speeches they could target some to particular parts of the country and particular demographics.

Re: DNC08 Jack At Invesco

I know I'm not the only one who taped the DNC.
