That speaks to character. Or lack thereof. To willingly support someone who used race as a political weapon. The phrase 'House Negro' comes to mind. And yes I edited myself when using that phrase.
Finally, she shows some concern for someone other than herself.
Just saw her on Fox News' Neil Cavuto. She said:
99% of the blacks don't even know why their voting for him.
Yes, she went there.
Any takers on where she'll pop up next?
But she'd have to do several things that I can't say she's ready to do:
1. Enthusiastically endorse Obama
2. Say that the process was fair
3. Leave no doubt that she sees Obama's victory as legitimate.
4. Enthusiastically encourage her supporters to vote for Obama.
5. Make it clear that she doesn't hold Obama responsible for the "sexism" she feels she's received over the last year.
6. Bring absolute CLOSURE. You can't have reconciliation without closure. Her endorsement means little if she leaves things open.
--------------
Hannity?
Tell me you are kidding about Harriet being on t.v.? And that she DIDN'T go there?
I just commented @ The Field about this. I think that there have been some over-the-top Clinton campaign surrogates and some of these folks face challengers. Given that black communities and voters have been awakened and made aware of their power, I think that some of these incumbents will face the election of their political lives.
And, they fully deserve it. Yes, because they endorsed Clinton while the she and her campaign went on a rampage about white working class voters and how Obama can't do the job and nary a once, did they ever try to broaden the coalition.... like with black and white working class, like w/ black and white women, like w/ women of color.
So, I am more than happy to do research into some of these races and I will be contributing and volunteering to show some of these arrogant and trifling elected officials just what a black spine consists of.
Yes. She most definitely went there.
And she didn't stop there. She said McCain would be a better president; she didn't care about the U.S. Supreme Court; and that Obama wouldn't be where he is if he were white.
She saw herself as speaking up for all of the oppressed white people in this country.
Yup. . . she went there.
We are to blame for this. We need to remind these folks who they work for and what they face when they choose political power over their constituents.
Somebody needs to make an Emily's List style website of challengers to fools like Tubbs-Jones so that folks who don't live in these Congressional Districts can donate.
I don't have alot but I can save up to give money to help you run these idiots out.

Yup! They know the handwriting is on the wall! Now these mofos need Obama's help. Where were they when all the race-baiting was occuring! I say---f%%%'em!
They had quiet arrogance because they thought it was safe! They thought no way Barack could beat the Clinton machine!
Let this be a lesson for all "House Negros"! We see you!

I guess she's a nice little sidekick for Pat Buchanan.
Because the only people stupid enough to think in fascist black and white terms of "This is American" and "This is Un-American" are racist white people.
You never hear the term "un-American" is from the mouths of those fools.
Other folks know better.
Now these black politicians want Obama's help. That Tubb-Jones woman is one person that rather questionable. I saw her ass on SOBU and I just had to shake my head.
As for that whatever Christian woman, I am not at all surprised that any media outlet would be giving her a platform to spew her garbage. After all, she is accusing black folks of being racist for voting for Obama because of us having a shared skin tone. 1% of us vote for Hillary because we are RACIST against her. It wouldn't have anything to do with the race-baiting campaign that she and her surrogates have used.
As I recall, at the beginning of this campaign, Clinton had far more black support than Obama! Folks were too busy debating--rather RIDICULOUSLY--if the man was "black enough." So Christian's wack behind needs to go sit down with her bullshit argument. If anyone sent black folks over to Obama in droves, that would be Hillary Clinton.
Like Michael Nutter? And Emmanuel Cleaver? And Tubbs-Jones? And Maxine Waters? And Sheila Jackson-Lee?
I realize that some of those folks maintained a low profile, but they still stood mute while horribly racist things were said and done to Obama, that would NEVER have been allowed toward Jackson or Sharpton or Smiley.
So if Michael Nutter believed that the Pennsylvania race-baiting that occurred on his watch was OK, then he can live with that decision and fund it himself.
No cash for race-baiting sellouts.
HELL NO
Vote.their.asses.OUT.
If you're serious about outing the sellouts in the CBC (and Al Wynn was a good start to send that message), get yourself informed. Look at their voting records. That's the ammunition you give their challengers to beat them.
If we want the CBC to regain their effectiveness, they have to be shown that they are vulnerable to primary challengers.
This is a group that stood by and watched Cynthia McKinney get harassed by the Capitol Hill Po-Po and when she complained, Mel Watt and crew told her to drink a six-pack of STHU. I personally witnessed that.
We DO have the power, and now is a good time to use it. How can they even face Obama, let alone ask him for help?
Knowing Obama, he's probably going to help them out, but don't think he's not going to keep score of who he's helping out. If he wants some legislation passed in 2009, Stephanie Tubbs-Jones better have her Hanky Head front and center asking him how fast he wants that legislation passed...
Mr. Impeached
Alcee Hastings.
He's on the list TOO.
