a-ight!" No code switching there! :)
He is so insanely biased an filled with jealous hate against Obama, he makes a fool of himself every time he speaks.
After going round and round with Scarborough about the debate being slime, she told a story about one of John McCain's campaign people being in a bathroom offering a police officer cash and went on to ask why people weren't talking about that and she said it's because campaign's choose what to put out there and not.
Scarborough skipped his predictions to tell her that Obama could not be compared to a man like John McCain with his service and experience.
The harder they press the better off I know SBO is.
-----------------------------------
I saw that! Rachel handed him his ass & after break, Rachel got his ass again for interrupting her! Joe is so rude, he runs all over Mika on Morning Joe like she is nothing! He won't let her begin a sentence before he cuts her off! F%%% him
He is a disrespectful, jealous swollen eyed mofo-ing pig!
I can't wait to see him after Obama is the POTUS.
Get'em Keith!
To paraphrase Rikyrah a little...
LOVED. IT.
Gullyness indeed. Can't wait for the YouTube mashup (ala Obama/Soulja Boy)
At Huffington Post, they are asking whether or not Joe Scarborough walked off the panel of "Race to the White House". There is a video there and at the 2:47 into the video, you can hear him taking off his microphone. Before the commercial break, he said that he was not going to engage in crossfire type debates and will not talk about what people do in bathrooms. (debating with Rachel Maddow)
Go Rachel!
If you can find the video, it is a must watch. People seem to let him just take over the conversation and spew his clearly irrational Obama hate, but Rachel WAS NOT HAVING IT TODAY!
He was angry because she wouldn't let his misguided points and assertions lie.
I HATE JOE SCARBOROUGH. More people need to challenge his ignorant ass bs.
Ok. Try this link......
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/17/joe-scarborough-walks-off_n_97330.html
There is also a snap shot of the panel before the break and then afterwards.
I watched Race for the white house as well and Rachel crushes on Joe for what seems like a daily basis. I think this time though, ole' joe had enough and did indeed walk off..At the last 1.30 orso of the show where they would typically have 4 people and the host, it only showed 3..Notably missing, one Joe Scrubs...Im willing to bet good money he'll be bringing this up the very first thing in the morning..
Seems Gen. Wesley Clark has a double standard...when his troops have to live up to a standard....that is ok...when Gen. Wesley Clark gets to enjoy the benefits of the Clintons...well.....???
I saw Rachel Maddow serve up Scarborogh (sp?.) She is one of the few white pundits who have a clue about issues pertaining to race and gender. Notice in the very last segment after she asserted herself- he left. No Joe after that!
Sorry about your father.
Smoothie
You better believe he's going to have a whole show on it tomorrow.
She is the one of a few journalist who truly speaks to the truth about a situation. She doesn't play the media game - make a story out of a non-story or shape a story to your liking.
If not for Roland Martin, Eugene Robinson and Rachel Maddow, I couldn't even watch the news during this election cycle. Sorry if I left anybody off, but these are the three I like.
Every time I watch her I think: Press Secretary!
She's one of the sharpest people on TV.
I agree - she really is.
Why was Harold Ford the DEMOCRAT laughing along with the boys when Jo responded that McCain wasn't being pressed about relationships because it's not the general yet.
Stupid, you're a Democrat you should be the one pressing McCain - which team are you on?
Thanks for the link. I didn't even notice when I was watching that he walked.
Good, he should stay gone. He lends nothing to thought provoking analysis.
He jealous of Obama.
"If you had ever ran for office..."
What a big baby.
Rachel is great.
The incarceration of men for failure to pay child support was started by alleged lesbian Janet Reno in Florida and made a national plan when she became attorney general.
Go to any university library and look up the history of political lesbianism and see if I'm wrong.
Lesbians are part of a sexually deviant counter that seeks to destroy and alter the traditional family. These are not the true values of the traditional african american community.
Oh hahahahaha!!! that is so funny! I'm wiping tears from my eyes, my sides are hurting and you are just . . .
wait. what the fuck? you're not joking? then you are a jackass.
as to my candidate, Barack Obama, i have listened to this clip about eight times because he is magnificent.
and as for the highly educated rhodes scholar rachel maddow, she would be a superb in any position at all. she is brilliant, astute, funny as hell, and gorgeous to boot.
Well.....She's a brilliant ass "rug muncher"!!!
I don't know about her ruining the traditional AA family - I don't remember what it looks like.
You better check with Mr. Cosby on that.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
On the war:
Joe Klein, Time Magazine
'The real heat of the campaign will be on the issues — war and taxes — where there is a real difference between McCain and the Democrats. McCain will have an advantage in the war debate: both Democrats favor a rapid-withdrawal timetable for Iraq — one to two brigades per month — that is probably untenable.'
On Taxes:
Blogger, Ed Morrissey:
'Obama’s blindness on capital gains reveals a hard-Left mindset. He sees investors always profiting and never losing, while the people who work at jobs created by successful investment as victims of this exchange rather than the beneficiaries of it. Obama wants to use the heavy hand of government to take away the rewards of risk from those who invested, and instead redistribute it to those who took no risk to create economic growth. In doing so, he will kill the engine that drives the American economy.
Obama either fails to understand how a free-market economy grows, or simply doesn’t care. Either way, it makes him a dangerous choice for the Presidency.'
On Economic Empowerment for
Minorities:
Jack Kemp, Wall Street Journal
'Senator, I believe our tax code punishes this process of upward mobility, especially for people of color, and in some cases it actually prevents people from escaping poverty. In this respect, I believe your economic views are short-sighted. You've pledged to raise income tax rates to 39.5% and lift the cap on payroll taxes, which would end up raising the top rate on income to 52% or more. You also want to raise dividend taxes to 39.5% and capital gains to 28%, plus you want to return to a confiscatory 55% "death tax." Unwittingly, your plans would prohibit most black Americans, indeed most Americans, from ever getting rich or even richer. Your economic ideas, sincere as they are, would weaken the economy, weaken the dollar, and weaken our chances of reducing poverty and unemployment.
It's my strongly held belief that we should be working to democratize our free-enterprise, private property-based system. We can do this by expanding empowerment zones and offering zero capital gains taxes for those who invest there; by reforming the tax code to open access to capital; and by providing more school choice in urban America.'
While Joe Klein is a shill for anybody-but-Obama, it's guy like Jack Kemp who will ultimately catch President Obama's ear. As conservative Republicans go, Kemp has some "street cred" with Black policy makers and economists.
I say this because Barack -- Democrat that he is -- isn't as far left as some suggest. He's got a real pragmatism about him, and would listen very carefully to someone like Kemp.
Good to hear. I know Klein's a shill but I do agree with him about the war and taxes being 2 key issues this Nov.
I would like to hear comments that reflect Obama's pragmtism, maybe I have to wait until he knocks Hillary out, because I am hearing nothing but left wing red-meat. If I'm missing something...let me know.
Funny!!
"OMG Barack Obama listens to rap music...ahh..noo...stop Barack Hussein Obama!!"
I could hear the screams now.
