  • At least they didn't name the airport after him, like they did to the residents of Washington, DC. after Ronald Reagan left office. What an insult!
  • I have to catch myself when I say to people I have to pick up at the airport "Are you coming into Reagan, uh, National Airport?"

Glen Ford refuses to call that airport anything but National. Most DCers feel the same way.
  • I have to watch my language but how appropriate.
  • What a lovely setting for a sewage plant.

You guys got any landfills down there you can name after Lou Dobbs?
  • Any landfills should really be named after Dick Cheney, but I'd accept them being named after Lou Dobbs as well.
  • I miss S.F. and Oaktown, too, although they are not as 'black' as they used to be.

What I really do miss is the Bay Area's propensity to call it before everyone else in the country got the message.
  • Being born and raised in Richmond, CA, I can appreciate how protest is definitely part of Bay Area culture.

While I don't miss Richmond, I do miss the Bay Area.
  • Oh how I love the Bay Area.
  • Gotta love the Bay Area...the home of Berkeley and Tony!Toni!Tone!...shyt, I love all of Cali.
  • I remember TonyToniTone!

    hehe
  • Also Bush would never leave the airport vicinity so as to not be filmed with protesters. I love the fighting spirit of my City.....but I fear those voices will be lost with the aid of the Mayor and his plans for displacement with bringing in condo development in poor neighborhoods and unnecessary sports stadiums.
  • Cindy Sheehan was in my neighborhood (the Mission) last evening collecting signatures to get herself on the ballot. Please sign if you see her or her surrogates! We need t osend a message to SF Nancy!

Great website by the way. I check in everyday.
  • Who ever thought of that was genius. GWB flushed this country down the drain....
