Jack and Jill Politics: Hillary: Votes Only Count If They Are For Me

But have you heard the latest? According to her staff's "independent study", Fox News has treated her campaign more fairly than MSNBC.

Yeah, well she won NH because white women rallied to her side, so that one definitely can't count. Nevada was an undemocratic caucus, so it's out. California had early voting, so it's gone. Florida and Michigan broke the rules, so they MUST be invalid. Arkansas and Oklahoma are red states, so they're gone. New York is her home state, so buh-bye.

Only Massachusetts and New Jersey are allowed to count...for now.

I forgot to add that Tennessee had lots of old people, Arizona has lots of Latinos, and New Jersey and Massachusetts had lots of women, so they're all disqualified! No valid wins for Hillary Clinton!

    All I can say is...wow!

And they wonder why I said no when they called to see if I was going to vote for her.

Couple this with Ed Rendell's interview today in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and it's MORE THAN CLEAR that their new message is Senator Obama will NOT appeal to working class/ethnic Whites aka racist, poor ass White folks!

Can someone with a Wiki password add the Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell comments to the list?

Talking Points Memo version is here: http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com... Klinton is hard at work in the upcoming primary states. This old hack, Mr. Ed, is disgusting.

Has she already started working on her excuses for Ohio and Texas yet? I bet for Ohio it could be that all those steelworkers hated her because they listen to Rush. Texas, those damned cowboys and that all the Latinos who voted weren't really citizens.

At this rate she will have an excuse for every state she loses.

She is really showing her true GOP colors, and, hopefully, the next few rounds of voting will have the public seeing right through her shrewish act.

    Did anyone see this?

Julian Bond and the NAACP want the DNC to seat the Florida and Michigan delegates:

WASHINGTON — A prominent civil rights leader has told the Democratic National Committee that refusing to seat delegates from Florida and Michigan would disenfranchise both states' minority communities.

In a Feb. 8 letter to DNC Chairman Howard Dean, NAACP chairman Julian Bond expressed "great concern at the prospect that million of voters in Michigan and Florida could ultimately have their votes completely discounted." Refusing to seat the states' delegations could remind voters of the "sordid history of racially discriminatory primaries," he said.

The DNC penalized Michigan and Florida for moving their primaries to earlier dates in violation of party rules. Both states were stripped of their delegates, and the party's presidential candidates signed a pledge not to campaign in either state. Florida lost 185 delegates; Michigan, 128.

After tonight, barring some calamity, Obama will have secured the nomination. The Clinton campaign can't withstand another withering defeat. The idea that Ohio and Texas are waiting their turn to place Hillary over the top is the same kind of twisted logic that Rudy Giuliani conferred on Florida when he was running. It presumes the electorate will ignore everything that has gone before and act like the contest is brand new or a tabula rasa. Of course this is a lot like asking gamblers to bet on the New England Patriots to cover a twelve point spread against the New York Giants at halftime in the Super Bowl. Every reasonable spectator, even those with deep emotional investments, wouldn't have taken those odds.

It would require contamination of public drinking water with hallucinogens to make the upcoming voters in Ohio and Pennsylvania suffer such delusion on a mass scale. Tonight we will witness the electoral version of Gettysburg. Contests will continue to be waged but the outcome will remain undeterred. Advantage Obama; now we move to the Finals.

To the creator of the Obama Hater Watch:

I learned of your website from a post here at JJP. Naturally, when I discovered this humorous but detailed youtube video of one of your top haters, I immediately thought of you. It is a two-part analysis of some suspect commentary. It kept me giggling, especially when I actually read the subtitles and captions! I am posting it here in case it is appropriate for your website and so the JJP readers can peruse if interested.

Well, Rendell and his comments continue to show just how Pennsylvania should be in the Deep South, what a bigot he is, but, sadly, he did speak some truth about whites who won't vote for the more qualified black. As for Miss Hillary, if, she is having problems with Obama, just how in the world with her myriad of negatives is she going to be beat McCain? This chick really needs a reality check, because when the GOP/Rove smear team along with Fox Noise get going on her, all the tears in the world and her man being pit bull aren't going to help her.

I don't think Florida and Michigan should count. If anything there should be a ReVote in those states. If the votes are counted and they go to Hillary Clinton because her name was the only one on the ballot that wouldn't be any different than Bu$h Jr. running to his Daddy's Supreme Court to stop the vote count in 2000.
