I'm not surprised.
More comments on his page (as of 12:35pm):
Go join the Socialist-Marxist Party.
Thank you for opening the way for a one world socialist government! We who would rather have free stuff than freedom salute you!
Cao for General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet States of America
YOU are a RINO and a disgrace to the GOP.....please resign..traitor
You are a Disgrace to Catholics, American's & Rebublican's. I will make sure to do everything within my power to see you are not re-elected to anything ever.
I vow to financially support any conservative
that runs against you. How dare you vote for any bill without fully
understanding it and at over 2,000 pages there is no way you had time to fully understand it.
Maybe you don't understand how this country works, but we try to keep to our constitution. What you did last night will forever plague you and any failed attempts to run for reelection. I might as well hand you hour pink slip now.
SHAME ON YOU!!! YOU ARE A FAILURE AND A TRAITOR!!! You were the ONLY republican to vote for the healthscare bill, where MANY democrats voted against it... How much more proof do you need that YOU were WRONG!!!! You have put a willing hand in the destruction of America, and you will be remembered as a TRAITOR!!! Thanks for NOTHING, CAO TSE TUNG!!!
What is wrong with YOU???? Come the next election, the people of Louisiana are going to vote your butt out! The only people supporting you are those who want handouts! Let me ask you...if we are forced to take this government takeover of health insurance, are YOU going to go on it like the rest of us? The majority of the American people DO NOT WANT THIS BILL. WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO THE MAJORITY? He did listen to the majority...of the people in his district
these stupid mofos don't even know WHERE he represents.
damn.
APPRECIATIN' me some RIKYRAH!! :>)
As for the votes - I'm surprised Artur Davis is still the only turnocoat in the CBC. He's trying to curry favor in Alabama, since he's decided he wants to be governor.

Now let's talk about primarying those 64 asshats who voted for the Stupak amendment and how we can make Stupak's life a living hell.
I have to admit, watching Dingell throughout all of this was pretty moving, knowing the history and all.
"At its core, the measure would create a federally regulated marketplace where consumers could shop for coverage. In the bill's most controversial provision, the government would sell insurance, although the Congressional Budget Office forecasts that premiums for it would be more expensive than for policies sold by private companies."
"it would be more expensive than for policies sold by private companies."
Are you kidding me?! The bill essentially deters the few people eligible for government run health care from participating in government run health care because of inflated cost. What happened to the so called support for the Public Option that Obama and Democrats in Congress said they had? Where is this so called support represented in this bill? Why are the Democrats providing more customers and further enriching people like Aetna, Blue Cross and United States Health and calling it "reform"?
Finally, getting rid of preexisting conditions and age discriminatory practices will not prevent the insurance companies from creating new unethical loopholes to make money - especially now that almost ALL Americans will be legally required to buy their services, lol. As long as the insurance companies maintain over 95 percent of the market, there will be no real incentive for them to provide decent affordable universal coverage for American citizens who desperately need that coverage.
Obama and Congress are selling American people's health out to the insurance companies because of political cowardice, fear and for future campaign donations in 2010 and 2012 respectively ( I hope they lose both elections! - their worse than the republicans who do nothing). Anyone who doesn't see this given the facts thus far is foolish or dreaming.
You must be looking for perfection in a President. Next time vote for God because you sound like a little girl. It doesn't matter what happens you would still complain. You hate Bush. Bush is gone. You VOTE for Obama. Now you hate Obama. It's a waste of time for a politician to try to please a voter like you because really don't know what you want.
Do you have anything substantive or constructive to say about the bill that was passed in Congress, or do you just want to show blind support for Obama and the Democrats? I clearly laid out the problems I had with the bill that was passed in an earlier post with facts - try addressing those facts and not just the FACT that I'm criticizing Obama.
Also, many people like myself have been quite clear about what we really wanted on this issue: A robust medicare style public option for all. Progressives like myself are not the ones who have changed positions multiple times. Obama (and his blind supporters) along with most Democrats are the ones who have changed positions multiple times concerning this issue. For months and months we had to go through the annoyance of finding out if they genuinely support the public option or not? Well clearly, we got that answer to that question yesterday. They (the Democrats and Obama) are the ones who didn't know what they truly wanted for most of this debate, not me or anyone like myself.
Also I never voted for Bush.
And i'm tired of telling people like you. I've been saying it for months. The reason you are not going to get "a robust medicare style public option for all" is because..........drum roll please..............THEY DON'T HAVE THE FUCKING VOTES. How's that for constructive. Now please go to the DailyKos with the rest of the cry babies.

In the House, the Stupak anti-abortion amendment passed 240 to 194 with one member voting present. 64 Democrats votes yes on the Stupak amendment. The Stupak amendment would effectively ban insurance companies from selling insurance plans that cover elective abortion on the individual and small group market. It would be one of the most far reaching national restriction placed on abortion in decades. It could also potential be used by insurance companies to allow them to legally discriminate against low income Americans.
Abortion would be the only legal medical procedure that the bill would ban insurance companies from covering. Abortion will be the only legal medical procedure the bill will officially “ration.” By voting for the amendment, 64 Democrats and all but one Republican voted to put a government bureaucrat between you, your insurance provider, and your doctor. If you choose to have an abortion, your doctor is willing to refer the procedure, and your insurance provider is willing to pay for the procedure, this amendment will have a government bureaucrat prevent that from happening. For all the talk about small government, these representatives are more than happy to give the government more power as long as it is used to restrict a woman’s right to choose.

+Sammy Sosa's Skin PHOTOS: Pictures Reveal Light Pigmentation
*** SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS ***
Sammy Sosa's skin appears to have lightened considerably. Photographs taken at an event in Las Vegas reveal a surprisingly light pigmentation on the former slugger. While no cause has been established at this time, the web site Midwest Sports Fans speculates that steroid use could be responsible:
There appears to be at least some evidence suggesting that steroid use could be one of the lifestyle choices that increases a person's likelihood of becoming symptomatic with vitiligo.
It was reported in June that Sosa, who captured the nation's attention as a prolific home run hitter in the 1990s and earlier this decade, tested positive for steroids in 2003.
LOOK: SEVERAL PICS.
WHAT???? I ain't NEVA heard of a connection between STEROIDS & VITILIGO!

"prohibits the use of federal funding for abortion under the public health insurance option and prohibits the use of federal affordability credits to purchase a health insurance policy that covers abortion."
That's not voting against women's rights. If the abortion isn't needed for the woman's health, rape or incest they need to use their own money for it. It's a good amendment. I shouldn't have to pay for other people's irresponsibility. Thanks to those Dems for standing their ground.
I don't quite understand why out of all the Democrats who voted against this bill, BooMan goes after the only one who voted against it because of misgivings about it from the left. It's not as if the thing was compromised again and again to appease him, as was the case with the "Blue Dogs", many of whom still voted against it.
As to healthcare reform I the onus remains on the President to pass a bill w/ the public option. No opt out, no triggers, no coops.
Then we still have to wait till 2013 for whatever happens.
