No maybe, it was out of line.
As to healthcare reform I the onus remains on the President to pass a bill w/ the public option. No opt out, no triggers, no coops.
Then we still have to wait till 2013 for whatever happens.

Well, maybe the "condoms" statement was a little out of line. I think the Dems in the Senate will find a way get a bill through. It may not be a bill that progressives want but it will be a health care bill. When a politician is trying to change a system that's been in place for decades it's going to be difficult. I understand the skepticism. But I don't think HC reform got this far just to fail.

I apologize for saying you said Kucinch was stupid. It was someone else. Your "joke' about condoms after the abortion amendment and how that was handled I just found totally tasteless. I find the way the healthcare reform bill has been handled poor and I do not believe it will come to fruition the way even the least optimistic will accept.

I guess we couldn't get a good bill because the votes weren't there.

I don't quite understand why out of all the Democrats who voted against this bill, BooMan goes after the only one who voted against it because of misgivings about it from the left. It's not as if the thing was compromised again and again to appease him, as was the case with the "Blue Dogs", many of whom still voted against it.
