This isn't really a fair comparison to the Newsweek cover of OJ. That cover was produced by an illustrator named Matt Muhurin, who was know for his dark, menacing imagery. This FOX stuff is just a childish hack job.

Watkins is out of place. He appeared on a different show than the other 2, first of all, but more importantly he looks better in the doctored photo. definitetly looks leaner, which is th ultimate virtue in our oprah-controlled society.

so, it has the affect of those mirrors in dept stores that make you look thinner. must have been an honest mistake, or maybe they like the guy.

It might, if NPR was itself a reputable outfit. Fact is, they are part of the establishment noise machine as surely as Fox. NPR in fact only does news stories that have previously been printed or aired by somebody else. As Greg Palast often notes, NPR News hasn't broken a single news story in more than 15 years!

Wow, we have to track some FOX News photos of the Obama's, and see what "touch ups" were done.

As far as Juan Williams is concerned, might being a Sr. Correspondent for NPR balance out the bad karma of working for FOX News?
