  @karmi i have heard so many people say michelle is actually the better obama. in some ways this couple is similar to the clintons. remember how many folks were impressed with hillary, saying she was actually the smarter, better one?

  even when she didn't like Barack, she liked Michelle. I remember reading on another blog Whoopi bringing up that Michelle was such a difference in representing Black women. This was months ago, when she clearly was FOR Hillary. Whoopi always respected Michelle.

  Barbara Walters irritated me the entire show especially when Whoopi praised Michelle for representing for the brown sisters. Barbara had the nerve to say, "Now back to the real hot topics!" What I like the most about the Obama's is how poised and calm they are. They never let anyone ruffle their feathers. I know it irks the hell out of white America that they are killing them with kindness and realness every single day!!!

  Barbara's skill is in bringing up sensitive subjects to make her guests break down and cry. It's infuriating.
  
  
  The ladies are sitting down having a nice conversation, and she comes out with something like: "So, your parents just got murdered and your husband left you for a younger woman, how are you handling that?" in that sickeningly sweet voice...and I'm like, WTF??!! Then everyone is mortified, and get really quiet and don't know what to say. That's when I hear the Psycho shower scene theme playing in my head as I imagine daggers flying toward her. But, the daggers bounce off as they hit bone...she's been on yet another diet...all 20 lbs of her.

  I liked it! She was relaxed, friendly, personable. Matthew Broderick was acting a bit foolish. And since the Obamas eat piggy bacon that would definitely cross them off the Muslim list.

  I TIVO'ed the show and watched it. I think Michelle did really well. Definitely better than Cindy McCain.
  
  
  As for Hasselbeck, I'm no fan anyway. If I wanted to watch a pseudo "Sean Hannity" impersonation with my morning coffee, I'd watch Fox & Friends. I just find Hasselbeck to be really disingenous. I was no big fan of Rosie O'Donnell either, but I totally got her point when she went after Hasselbeck for saying one thing on-air to prove her "conservative" street cred with the Fox News crowd, but off-air being totally the opposite.
  
  
  
  Anyway, Hasselbeck is suppose to be on Sean Hannity tonight. Let's see what she says about Michelle Obama then.

  Well there here you go: At the end they said that Elizabeth would be on Hannity tonight. Well I was just over on Huff Po and someone was posting that Elizabeth was totally bashing Michelle and her appearance on the View.
  I don't watch Fox News, and if I ever passed the channel, I definitely never watch Hannity & Colmes, so I'm not sure if it was true?
  
  
  
  If it's true, I hope someone at the View reads her the riot act.
  
  But of I bet they won't the View's usual MO is to ignore what the co-host do or say outside of the show.
