I really wish people would stop that nation has come so far stuff. If you use the incarceration of Black Males as an indicator of the status of African American wellbeing this nation is more oppressive to Black people than it was before the voting rights act. In fact, oppression by the penal system is far more systemic that lynch mobs.

If you use the fatherless families indicator of the Black Males as the status of African American wellbeing in this nation this is by far the MOST oppressive to black people ever. Yes more systemic than all issues ever faced by us.

5% in incredibly low! I am thinking 20% really. There is no excuse for a such a low increase and frankly I would be embarrassed. I became active in the campaign in January and plan to really focus this summer on the GOTV. I'm expecting a landslide win for Obama partially fueled by an high turnout of AA.

What does the National Association for Criminally Minded Men do anyway? Most of those Board members were probably shilling for Hillpatine. They would've told Obama that he wouldn't win. Look at Bob Satan Johnson's donor list and you'd find quite a few familiar names on it.

This is not to defend the NAACP but I do want to give you another perspective. This election was never really about race! There was subtle race baiting at first and in the last couple of months it became overt. By that time Obama was too far ahead for Hillary to catch up but it was close. Obama tried really hard not to be cast as the black candidate and he was successful. If Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, or anyone else
had come out publicly arguing about

racism or racist tactics, I believe

we would not be celebrating Obama's

success today. I know some of you were frustrated that no one came to our defense, but I truly believe there was a method to this madness.

I'm a female AA and I will be voting for the truly (obviously so) qualified candidate, John McCain. I was at firs so very excited about our people (AA's) breaking through the racial barrier in this country, but c'mon you guys Barak is a great speaker but certainly NOT a qualified commander in chief among his many obvious shortcomings as the leader of the free world. It's scary and if you guys can get off the excitement of an AA becoming president because of the simple fact that he is AA you would certainly be as scared as me when my first lady introduces my president as "My baby daddy".
