I love art yall. This is good.

The strip is titled “Traitors”
This is an interesting take on a huge battle that is going on within the Black community as well as White females.

If you are Black, do you hold a grudge against Black HIllary Clinton supporters?

If you are a Black ... Continue reading »

  • This is funny.

I think you know my opinion on Black Hillpatine supporters.

Pre-racebaiting, I shrugged my shoulders at them.

Post-racebaiting, I raise my eyebrow and don't want to sit next to them.

I just believe that there's something fundamentally wrong with Black folk who support someone who racebaited a Black candidate. That they sat there with their mouths shut makes them SUSPECT.

If they went out and DEFENDED Hillpatine...oh, HELL NO.

    Uh uh.

As for White women who look askance at ME for not supporting Hillpatine...

They can kiss my Black ass. Their brand of feminism was NEVER for me. And, her racebaiting Obama negates any ' Sisterhood' I might have had with Hillpatine, because that's an attack on me, my father, my uncles, my nephew, my future (hopefully) Black husband, and my future (hopefully) Black son.

I've never been under delusion of Sisterhood with Miss Anne.

Miss Anne ain't studdin' about my Black behind.
  • I agree. I thought Hillary was shady pre-race-baiting but I can remember the 90s when everyone was oh so happy.

Post-race baiting black Hillary supporters remind me of people numb from abuse. They are in denial about the abuse or make excuses for their abuser.

"Oh, it's okay she didn't really mean it, it's my fault that she said those mean things." Or "Obama made her react that way." Give me a break.
  • I don't know what happened to my other comment, but I wouldn't have a problem with a black Hillary supporter as long as they weren't tearing Obama down on a personal level. But most of them were cosigning the racist bullshit or actively participating in it (Stephanie Tubbs Jones), and I think they need to answer for that.
  • I don't think they are traitors...I think just wilfully ignore the facts including my own mother.

    See her comments here .

I love my mama, but she is real close to me not admitting we are related.

I also wrote a post in response to all the folks not of color (Clinton and Obama supporters alike) as to my choice to support him.
  • everyone has said it to the T --- political differences and preferences we are all entitled to and that is what makes our country great. But when Hillary & Company went off the deep end, how can you as black elected official Ms. Tubbs --- how can you look yourself in the mirror. How do you plan to look at the black folk who elected you?

Having said that - I really don't sense that Obama is a vindicative person and he is not keeping tabs like we are. If folks like Tubbs work AS HARD to get him elected maybe all will be forgiven by her voters.

Will that wash away your anger with these folks?
  • Haha...that was my roommate this past Friday. We kicked her to the curb and told her to find another apartment. She is a black Clinton supporter and the stuff that comes out of her mouth is just reckless and offensive. She is worse than this chic named "Sugar's" blog who refers to Michelle Obama as "chimped face" and has tried to smear Obama with everything from being a real Muslim, a plagerizer, to being a homosexual who cheats on his wife at gay bars to a mysogynist. I had to cut her loose. The list goes on. Its like they try and find anything. They are more desperate than who they are supporting. Some of their tactics and remarks are even prejudice about their own people and themselves.

The blacks who support them seem to be worse than black conservatives with their non-sense. You dont have to support Obama but the Clintons are a no-no.
  • I always talk about my roommates. I have five other ones besides me out here in BK (Brooklyn). Two were Clinton supporters (a latino and a black). We kicked the black one out and the Latino one is next ( as I think I mentioned in another post). They both showed their true colors like the Clintons did this election season and its unfortunate.

Even Charles Rangel said that that comment made about "hardworking White Americans" was silly. He said "silly" because he is a suppporter of her's. He's silly for supporting her still and what she said was stupid and intentional.

Black Clinton supporter cease to amaze me with their rhetoric.
  • I will forward this to the girl that I kicked out's email!!

P.S. My family is at a rally in Tampa for Obama!! The whole fam=)
  • I don't have a problem with Blacks that support Hillary. I may not understand it but they are entitled to their opinions as I am entitled to mine.

My wish for all people of like and differing opinions is for intelligen/relevant conversation and debate. Again, we are not one monolithic body. Our experiences and views are as varied as any other group.
  • I hear you black literaure however too many justify their support for non-sensical reasons and then many join up with Clinton and her surrogates using and condoning race-baiting and offensive smear tactics. That is where I lost respect for the Clintons and that is where I lose respect for her black supporters. It's not about having different opinions.
  • @rhonda
I hear you also. That's why I ask for intelligent/relevant converation and debate. :-) That I can respect!! I have issues with rhetoric in general.
  • Thanks for the props for the Strip everyone. We Appreciate the feedback, and Im hella glad to see it has continued to spur conversation on the issue.

( I also enjoy picking with HIllary supporters, But i aint one to gossip, so you aint heard that from me )

Keep it going, and get out there and VOTE!

YES WE CAN and YES WE WILL.

  • Rikyrah,

I understand how you feel. I just HAD to ask (Black female) County Commissioner Hillary supporter who has her own radio show how she could support HRC with all of the race baiting and she replied, "That's politics"! I was like are you serious? Then I went on to site certain examples and she either joked it off (b/c I was livid day day) and/or misiformed her listeners by coming b/h me when I hung up saying that Ohioans did not say race was a factor in their votes etc. Her listeners were calling in either repeating her ill informed "facts" oh shoot I will just say it LIES and ignorant things that has gotten from talking heads like...Pat Buchanon! That's when I had to take a "break" from politics!
  • Should all Black Hillary supporters be tortured or worse? Just a question.
  • Just because they share similar gender or skin color doesn't make them an ally. It's good to know who the enemies are.
