The Obama camp has stated Hillpatine will not be considered for VP! YES!!! I wrote a nice long letter to Donna Brazile urging her to let the Obama camp how many of his supporters he'd alienate if he chose the evil tormentor.

There is yet another reason that Obama should not pick Clinton: the reaction of Republican and Independent voters.

People talk a lot about how Democrats will react to Clinton on the ticket. Sure, that's important, but let's also look at how Republicans and Independents would react: (1) quite a few Republicans like Obama; these people would high-tail it out of the room if Clinton were on the ticket. (2) Independents have a big influence on any presidential election, and let's face it, Independents do not like Hillary!

I know I keep going on and on about her, but I can't wait until Barack picks a VP other than her!!!

Caroline Kennedy is someone who can be trusted to make an assessment that is politically astute but not self-serving. She's never run for office and isn't looking for a political position herself, so any assessment is likely to be objective.
She also adds a woman's perspective to vetting and an automatic way of checking how a candidate comes across to women.

The rest of the team are the needed pros for the harder part of the vetting-the legal and the financial part.

I think adding Caroline Kennedy to the vetting process was so smart.

For one, she is highly respected and if Clinton is not selected the feminists can't blame it on the "guys."

Pelosi and Reid told her she BETTER do it by the end of this week or pretty much forget about her career. She did not realize how little support she actually had. She said she would do it by Friday. FINALLY.

Its unfortunate that HRC was incapable of conceding LAST night...you know, the night when Senator Obama rewrote history by winning the democratic nomination. HRC thinks that everything is about her political aspirations...

NEWSFLASH: its not...everything is not about you HRC and unfortunately, you have been deaf to that message as you HAD to concede tonight so the MSM could focus on you, you, you.

A change is gonna come and that change is Barack Obama...the COUNTRY does not need more of the same which is EXACTLY what would happen if HRC and her husband jumped on ship

I'd vote for Caroline. She has no political aspirations whatsoever, but I trust her. I like her. I wish she would eat, but I like her, and I like that photo. Since she's not on the list, though, who would really be good? (and that answer cannot include the Queen of Denial, D-NY.)

I'm more and more impressed by Obama each day.

It's being reported that Hillary intends to "drop out" by the end of this week. CNN panel Toobin, Borger and Cafferty joked that it might depend on what the meaning of "end of the week" is. They debated whether it would be dropping out of suspending. They seem to think suspension means she can still fundraise to pay the debt.

I think if and when she drops out, it will withdraw energy from her support base. Maybe that will alleviate some of the hostility toward Barack...but right now, she's just feeding the monster.

This automatically will give Barack a month to cool off the Hillary for VP talk. Even a basic high-level vetting starting now would take at least that long. By then Hillary concedes, and her people come to accept him as the nominee.

Should she persist, just reporting on the committee's activities (that's reportable) will make it even clearer that Hill will not be the choice, because of all of the lost time.
