Actually the interview was about the perception of Barack Obama by Europe and the UK. I will say that I fear some people are are quick to dismiss dumb ignorant Christians for being believers in this day and age, while at the same time giving a pass on Islam- out of fear of being seen as unPC. It doesn't help when this tourist attraction (Prince Charles) declares he wants to be a 'defender of faith' not the defender of the faith. That's throwing out a lot of history, which isn't something, Sikhs, Muslims, Jews or anyone else has asked the govt/monarch to do.
Having said all that, the premise of your comment, and/or the efficacy of American unilateralism fighting the GWOT alone or w/ "tough talk" is a logical as well as actual failure. Anyone paying attention to the fiasco in Iraq would know that.
But Rupert Murdoch has been chipping away...
Obama abroad: A pictorial.
Ya gotta believe.
That is an awesome diary. Pictures are great.
To be taken seriously, you atleast put forward a semblance of appearing like you know what you are talking about. I do believe you mean Shariah law. And if you actually READ beyond the headlines you would also realize that this so called proclamation that "Shria Law" is coming to UK is fear mongering sound bites. I suggest you look up 1) the clause about both parties consenting and 2) the clause about how even if both parties do agree, no judgement that goes against established UK laws can be passed. So you are pretty much looking at cases of inheritance at max.
This is GREAT INFORMATION!! Noticed how Ms. Sarpong picked up on every attempt at a NEGATIVE statement or IMPLICATION about Mr. Obama! She's TIGHT
and THEY LOST the debate [in the guise of in interview]!!! :>)
Thanks for "bringing it"!!! :>)
If you, say, backed up your statements with something other than tinfoil and "get off my lawn!" maybe you'd get a better hearing.
