it is our campaign. now as al davis, the owner of the oakland raiders, used to say..JUST WIN BABY!

I wonder how Hill/Billy and CNN will discount those donors ;)?
  • andyfrombrooklyn · 1 year ago
not the noble and unassailable good regular or common folk. but rather 1, 500,000 elitist, latte sippers, volvo drivers, activists, young and naive, african americans. who deserve scorn and should be discounted.

James "Skeletor" Carville said that 1.2 million donors aren't donors, they're a political party. Nice backhanded compliment to Obama.

    or.....

You see, these people donated because they know that they will be saving a lot of money this summer with my plan for the gas tax holiday. Without such a plan, 1,500,000 being able to donate would not be possible for the Obama campaign to reach. They are thinking ahead...with my help.

    @ Felicia

If Obama doesn't get the nomination, I suggest we START another PARTY immediately in anticipation of 2012.

    I mean it too

Yes Evita - I'm right there with you! It's what I thought Obama should be telling those superdelegates and party insiders all along playing hardball with them while still being 'nice' in public. Which is also why some of Hillary's supporters are so pissed.

    I'm with you, Evita!

I gave Obama a small contribution (Bush economy).

It probably is high time that Barack start asserting himself as the person who will be the figure-head of the Democratic Party.

1.5 million donors (not including supporters who can't donate) is some serious juice. He may need to start letting the party elders know that he's about to be the new sheriff in town.

I think people have gotten so accustomed to Barack being a genuinely nice guy, that they haven't realized that he's quickly become their political superior.

    Never thought about that.

    ronnie b,

he knows it. They know it. They can count.

but, just in case the DNC calls...tell them they'll get a contribution when Obama is the nominee.
