  • very well said! "take full stock of the war--not just the impact on us".


    the us has lost all its credibility about defending law and oder (remember: the policing the world thingy?) and all of the post 9/11 sympathy. america is down on the floor on policy, philosophy and now even economy.



    america is loosing it. now come elections.



    the task ahead should be assigned to clinton II, so sure it is to be a bummer.

    that 71% of Americans are making a connection between the ballooning war spending and the sinking economy re-assures me that as a nation, we are ready to act like grown people instead of bullies flailing their fists indiscriminately.



    it is heartbreaking that only when we can see it affecting us personally, in this country, does ending the war draw some interest.



    sometimes i hate my people.
