I am not a Pat Buchanan fan, but he (Pat) was making good points (people going thru the World Trade Center rubble after 9/11 vs. Dick Grasso [but Grasso gets the big bucks]).
Lawrence Kudlow: what an asshole.
Hilariously true! Jack Welch -> GE -> NBC -> MSNBC -> Pat Buchanan. The man knows who pays the bills.
Kudlow and Welch were so disdainful of Obama. Ridiculous.
It was weird to hear them talk so disparagingly of Sprtizer. Welch left his wife for another woman, so he's a hypocrite to criticize the guy. Kudlow admitted he has a drinking problem. They shouldn't throw stones.
His "middle America doesn't want to take from the rich" (paraphrase) nonsense is a miscontruction of what Obama's message on taxing the rich more than the middle. After all, they make more, so why should those who make substantially less have to carry a heavier tax burden than the rich do? What's difficult to understand about that? How does that turn into taking from the rich? Selfish bastards.
But fixing the minimum wage indexed to inflation is 'bad'.
The class warfare is on the surface if one has even rudimentary critical thinking skills.
Pat B., in the end-analysis, helps keep screwed-over white working class votings voting against their own economic interests--and this is why he earns millions in the MSM. Of course he is not going to push the economic populism meme too far--he wouldn't have access to all those corporate dollars.
Watching these rightwing white ....cks lionize and apologize the corporate order makes me want to hook them to a plow, and work them twelve hours a day (with breaks and ample water, of course).
