    I don't think he's a jihadist; but I think he definitely didn't want to be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.

    I think he figured, okay--I'm going to lose my mind here rather than there.

    An imam he worshipped with also spoke of Hasan's wanting to have a wife.

    If you're going to be deployed to the armpit of the universe, you're not going to find a wife there.

    One thing I have learned about shrinks: (1) many of them didn't get into the game because they had a calling, but because (2) they had some problems themselves.

    It's going to be an interesting trial. No doubt.

    Obama had better make up his mind about Afghanistan...or is this an incident designed to force his hand?

    We've all gotta stay tuned on this.

    Well, if you were wondering what paranoiac smear artist would be the first to step out and attempt to name President Barack Obama as the man who guided Nidal Malik Hasan to his murderous rampage at Fort Hood yesterday, the answer -- naturally! -- is Jerome Corsi. Corsi has a long history of lunatic, fact-averse ravings and he fails to disappoint on that regard on the pages of World Net Daily, today, in a piece entitled "Shooter advised Obama transition." Except, of course, he didn't do any such thing.
