Jack and Jill Politics: Racist Rush Limbaugh Attacks Obama as Affirmative Action Candidate

  • Town · 1 year ago
Ya heard Hillary's peeps filed a lawsuit down in Fl to snatch those delegates. Po' thang.

Rush is just mad his boy Karl Rove got subpoenaed today. He's mad that the racial whisper attacks aren't working so they're ramping it up a notch. And Miss Hillary has given everyone permission to do that.

I don't think that Rush is the main news today. Rezko is or seems to be, i.e. many sites (news or otherwise) are draggingly s-l-o-w.

Most sites with Evelyn Pringle's articles are at a stop...the "Scoop" is moving well so far, and has some links to a series of articles:

    Curtain Time for Barack Obama

Rezko is nowhere, but keep on trying.

I've finally learned to be no more outraged at what Rush Limbaugh says, than what David Duke says.

    Same guy.

Rush simply holds a mirror up to the liberals and exposes them for who they are. He is merely reiterating a point made by none other than Dem Geraldine Ferraro, and discussed ad nauseum by the MSM. He is saying nothing new, and is speaking from the liberal perspective in order to point out, in his opinion, the vacuity of their policies.

Affirmative Action is indeed a policy set in place by liberals to give advantages to women and minorities. There must be examples of the success of AA out there in society and it is not racist to suggest that minorities have indeed benefited from the policy. That was its intent. To deny any possibility that Obama has in his lifetime benefited from AA is nothing to be ashamed of, or decried as racist. It should be applauded of a successful policy instituted to bring equality to our society.

Stop being so paranoid, judgmental and defensive. Obama has made the most of the opportunities offered to him, worked hard and is responsible for his success. It would be worse if he had squandered an Ivy League education and not made the most of his blessings and talents.

    Hey, now!
    Rush is bitter.

He can't get his hillbilly heroin!

Does anyone really care what Rush says anymore? Is he even relevant? He claims to have swayed the primary via Operation Chaos, but lets face it - he couldn't even manipulate the Republican race as evidence by John McCain being the nominee.

    In short... 'yawn'.

I wonder what Michelle will wear to Obama's inauguration... :)

When you use Rush's name does some sort of alarm go off at the Angry White Male Headquarters that forces them to come on over here?

    Just curious.

Yeah, cuz Richard Nixon was really liberal.

Rush is so irrelevant, I don't think he even takes him seriously. He says things that are "shocking" to keep target demo listeners (people he'd probably never associate with in real life) tuned in and get other people to tune in because they can't believe someone would spew such ignorance.

Rush's glory days are gone. Time to pack it in old boy.

To slam AA, or to openly mention it as if that's the only reason Obama is where he is, is to be completely blind to the fact that White men everywhere, for centuries, have significantly benefited in life due to their whiteness.

If people want to bring up AA, that's fine, I'm just tired of whites doing it in a way that makes it seem that they are now being victimized. You can't bring up AA without discussing the reasons it was brought into existence. White people set up a system through laws and lack of equal opportunity so that they could benefit personally, professionally, and financially.

But I'm not allowed to mention that, right?

Boys aren't doing any worse in school than they ever did. What's interesting is that boys often test slightly better than girls, but girls have higher GPAs. Schools aren't failing to educate boys, boys are failing to work as hard as girls.

And I'm not trying to say that boys shouldn't be helped or encouraged to do better; the wingnuts are just plain wrong on this, and I'm almost embarrassed for them.
