The scenes behind the candidates are always staged.

The rallies and obama events I have attended have all had way more caucasians than people of color. I doubt they needed to run out and hire extras as stand ins.

Re: They Need Less Stupid

Only in America can a black man be accused of being a radical Christian and a radical Muslim and of hating white people and black people at the same time.

the same man who is accused of being too black while (still) being accused of not being black enough. to have people fling this much silliness at him, he MUST be doing something right.

Re: They Need Less Stupid

Do you trust that Barack has his campaign under control? "There are some who do, but most Americans feel blessed just being able to thrive a little bit. But that is becoming even more out of reach."...

"If we don't wake up as a nation with a new kind of leadership...for how we want this country to work, then we won't get universal health care," she said.

"The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more."

Give up a piece of their pie, or is Michelle going to take it away? Either way, it's pretty clear that our aspiring first lady's appreciation of economics is about as deep as her pride in America. And of course, it helps if you have a slumlord friend to help you get your piece of the pie. As long as everyone has a slumlord friend for such purposes, we all can have plenty of pie!

Re: They Need Less Stupid

Less stupid, indeed. Because only the Obama campaign stage manages the people who sit behind the candidate during the speech.

Right.
