The veiled resentment of Obama's blackness is something that I would expect from most Republicans. But it's obviously a sentiment within the Democrat party, too.

Ironically, I quit the Democratic party because the party leaders constantly refused to get behind viable Black candidates for leadership positions. The Clintons and Edwardses pretty much reaffirm my decision.
