Jack and Jill Politics: Your Help Needed STAT — Healthcare Up for Vote in House!

    yeah, yeah...I did. I called all my congressmen and all those in my surrounding states to tell them to vote for some responsible healthcare legislation, especially NOT this bill. You're right, not many folks here in the south are interested in voting for it.

    This bill is only a government takeover certain to give us higher (than even advertised) tax burdens, rationing, and life and death decision making in the hands of bureaucrats. Unfortunately for those at JJP stuck on the transfer of wealth angle, this bill will only ask MORE of the folks who have already been used by the system. The IRS will collect, with a lot less due process.....

    I called my 'Blue Dog' rep here in FL ... told him I was new to Dixie County, and that if he supports any G'ovt healthcare takeover then he will have a new vote against him.

    Oh, dear! Where was this knucklehead on September 11, 2001? Or when the Patriot Act was passed for that matter. Where was this fool in 2000 when the Supreme Court put a stop to the vote counting in the state of Florida and installed the Bush Mob in the White House? The greatest threat to freedom in nineteen years? Have another sip, Mr. Faux Tan Man.
